Architects: @ The Centre for Vernacular Architecture

My husband dreams of a mud and brick geometrical home in a far-away village by the pond. I think I am in his dreamland.

These brick , mud, random rubble and laterite stone oppulant spaces are created by The Centre for Vernacular Architecture. The centre is a non-profit organisation and a co-operative of building crafts persons.

  2. I had a very bad experience with the P.V Enterprises. I was fascinated with athangadi tiles when I read an article in Inside Outside.
I found the website of PV Enterprises on the internet when I googled Athangadi. After contacting them I sent the money for the tiles, but the tiles were not sent to me inspite of repeated phone calls. Finally the tiles were sent . The tile layers and polishers who were supposed to come to lay it never came . We heard a lot of lies and called for atleast 2 months.
When we checked the tiles sent to us we found we did not even have enough to complete the room. This inspite of ordering many square feet more than needed.
So please be careful especially of PV Enterprises.
