All ye (can’t count me out so)
all of us power consumers answer my two questions :-
Is guilt an excellent motivator?
Or is it the money counting strategies that motivate our spending or saving?
So when asked how much electricity we have already consumed in terms of money, in terms of dollar – everyday or even every moment – do we sit up and start listening?
Do we start changing our habits?
To green our Conscience and to start a clean SLATE – two greener gadgets – two electricity meters are here to help us.

Project Conscience aims to reduce domestic electricity use by making users financially aware of the implications of their current energy usage habits. An in-home electric meter; hard wired into the home network, will deliver accurate and real time information to the user graphically via bar graph and ambient lighting – the principle being that we, the consumers will use less in order to pay less.
SLATE is an energy awareness product system that provides real-time feedback, in dollars, of your home’s energy expenditure. By allowing homeowners to instantly visualize their energy usage in universal terms, SLATE intends to change the way we consume power and adjust our spending habits.
