Indian designer Abhinav Dapke has come up with this amazing user-friendly concept-solution for small amounts– Ecoin. Ecoin is a digital representation of small amounts or coins. This small electronic device carries all your small amount big bulk!
If you are in India than I bet you have already experienced at least one ugly incident where you had to shout at or were shouted at for not having change. Buying at shops, paying for taxi, bus or auto, as well as eating outside etc we need in our day-to-day life exact change. We don’t realize it anymore but we all keep a box full of coins.

The Rupee Symbol Designer And His Green Children

Do I like the Rupee Symbol? It is clean and simple. It feels like I already know the symbol. It seems yes it is the design! There could not have been any other design depicting rupee. (see my post)
I don’t think I have instantly fallen in love with the design but it is already etched in memory and I have started relating to it!
This is the rupee symbol designer’s greatest achievement and I was curious to know more about him. The first thing which caught my eye on his IDC website was his children – his green children (the image below) and I knew I had to do this post.
