Decorative lamp by designer Rahul Shirbhate

Rahul is a design student at IIT, Guwahati.

This beautiful lamp is based on concept of nature’s three life sustaining elements:  water, soil and light. And how it works :–

Led light, present on the upper side is powered by electrodes present in the soil at the bottom side of the bowl. White upper is light source, black at the bottom is energy taker, where you grow plants and blue stem denotes water.

And wow! together they not only create a stunning visual but a great bonding, benefiting and cohesive unit!
