When a housewife wants to write adventures of a little deer; the deer takes a journey from traditional motifs of Slovak folk embroidery to comic world and materials also change from ceramics to plastic. And the story gets written thus:
Sylvia Jokelová is a Slovak designer.
These are prototype designs(?).
In this architectural and interior splendour nothing comes between you and nature! No architectural barricades, no colours to dazzle you and no space filling interior accessories.

Warning no 1: if your jaws drop and mouth open then do not blame me!
Warning no 2: if you want to run right away to these stunning locales in New Zealand then don’t tell me I didn’t warn you enough!
Warning no 3: I am hooked and have been to their website 5 times already clicking each & every photo all over again!
Warning no 4: these are awards-winning firm’s visually stunning, extremely modern houses – a 360° X 1000 times views!
Fearon Hay Architects is a New Zealand based firm.
For their stark modern aesthetics, I want to dub them as ‘Maharajas’ of modern minimal architecture!
Every corner of these houses is linked to its landscape. Large living areas, internal courtyards, endless verandahs, open plan bathroom, extensive decks and patio spaces, natural grey plaster walls and merging of indoor and outdoor living spaces with slide away systems to open the house to the opulence of views and abundant light make these spaces simple, magnificent and dreamy!

Mix some cross stitch, some ikat, some ancient calligraphy and Aztec architecture on a wall and you have this stunning artwork façade!
This unusual crafted exterior look belongs to Shatto Recreation Center designed by Steven Ehrlich Architects in collaboration with artist Ed Moses.
Shatto Center’s architecture in itself is interesting enough but what holds my interest more is its designer façade!
Center’s north and south elevations are animated with abstract patterns of split-faced, sandstone coloured red bricks and glazed black concrete blocks.

Fence Designed by Studio Han Design
It is like a painting on a mud wall of India; only the modern version! A specific-design idea or specific design sensibilities seem to develop in some areas of the world automatically. We don’t like to stare at barren walls. By nature we are creative! We are designers.
You must have come across various posts about amazing designer bus stops (check my post and go here and here) in and around Russia. How did it start?
Now in Japan a new trend is developing. Fences or say specifically construction sites fences are painted beautifully.
